The New Playground is here!!!
The parents of Blueberry Playschool have been working for years to fundraise for a new playground. Well the time has finally come. In June 2010 we received a matching Grant from CFEP (Community Facility Enhancement Program) to help in paying for this wonderful structure. The playground includes a Junior Playground, a Senior Playground as well as Apollo Rotating Net Climber and the Biggo Duo Disk Swings. We have included benches, picnic tables and garbage cans to complete the area and make it a place for families to enjoy. We have also decided to donate the exisitng playground to a charity so that it can be refurbished and then sent overseas to a developing country where more children will be able to enjoy it.
The Blueberry Playschool Society Playground will be a true benefit for the community. This playground structure will enhance the recreational opportunities for the children and the overall quality of life for all community and surrounding area residents.
The play equipment meets the requirements of CSA Z-614-07 for children 2 - 12 years old.
