Blueberry Playschool - west of Stony Plain

To ensure adequate participation from our parents and get the support we need for playschool we have a couple of deposits that are required upon registration:

- $50.00 for a clean-up deposit (when you show up for the clean-up date this deposit will be returned to you at the end of the fall term or carried over into the spring term)

- $300.00 deposit for fundraising. This deposit returned to you once you have completed your commitment for fundraising for the year (as specified at the time of the registration).

- $100.00 for a Parent Helper deposit

Plus a non-refundable Registration deposit fee of $50.00 (that will be applied towards the program fees).

Fundraising includes working at Spruce Grove Bingo.

Sign up sheets are posted outside the classroom.

Community League membership for the year will also need to be paid:

- $20.00 for a family membership

The Blueberry Playschool is located in the basement of Blueberry Community Hall.

Go thru the side door entrance - signage is posted.

This Playschool activity is to aid in the development of the preschool child; socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually.

All parents of children eligible for Playschool shall be considered active community league members (Blueberry Community League).

As of the Fall term 2011 our Playschool teacher is Deanna Willson.

Wonderful, new Playground

A new Playground was constructed in 2010 as a result of the efforts from the parents of the Blueberry Playschool Association. Many years of fundraising made this possible. Thanks to everyone involved.

Eligibility

Children eligible for playschool shall:

- reach their third birthday by August 30th for the three-year old program

- reach their fourth birthday by the end of February the following year for the four-year old program

Playschool Fees

Our fees are the most economical... close to $5.00 per day or $10.00 per week

- $200.00 for the fall program fees (2 half days per week from 9:30am to 11:30am)

- $250.00 for the winter/spring (Jan. - May) program fees (2 half days per week)
